Public Transportation

Dear People Who Ride Public Transport with me,

I apologize for taking up my own personal space and the space next to me (usually occupied by my backpack or bag or tennis rackets or groceries). I realize that I am being obnoxious and that I am a rather small person so that almost anyone can fit next to me comfortably on any form of transportation. Due to some unfortunate experiences where people two or three times my width have chosen to occupy the seat next to me (regardless of anything I put there) I dislike sitting next to ANYONE during travel. I know it looks funny, I know its rude. Bear with me or lose some weight. Big boned is fine, you can sit next to me all you want, but if you are sitting next to me because you can justify taking up more than your space because I am petite, I will hurt you while you are in your diabetic (type two of course) coma drooling on my hair.

To the normal sized people I apologize for my rude-ness and would like to point out to you that you would think the exact same thing if you choose to sit next to me. If you ask me to move my bag, I will. I thoroughly enjoy sitting next to people who do not take up more space than they need. If the bus is packed, please do try to sit next to me instead of letting a very hefty person take your place. I will offer my multigrain cherios (for long trips) and try to be as polite as possible if you do.

All that being said, I am going to sleep. Bus rides make me tired.
